HI, I’m Sarah
Coach, Mentor and Creator of VA Foundations, Group Program for VAs and Online Service Providers.
Based in Dublin, I‘m also a serial small business owner, neurodivergent, loving mum of 2, podcast fanatic and tea connoisseur.
My personal journey into small business owner life wasn’t straight forward. But who’s is, right?
At the time, I seemingly had it all:
I was living in Sydney, Australia ✔
Secured a well-paid job as an investment banker in Sydney CBD ✔
Degree in Social Science and a post-grad diploma in Business Studies & HR ✔
A promising career ✔
But what seemed perfect to some, left me hanging dry.
I realised I wanted to impact lives, not someone’s bottom line.
So I started over, studied Social Work and spent a good 10 years making a genuine difference.
I craved meaningful connections with a community of like-minded Irish women in Australia and in 2018 I discovered the vast opportunities of the online world.
As an action-taker, I took matters into my own hands and started my own engaged online community for Irish women. And within a few months I grew it to over 5,000 Group members on Facebook.
It was my way to make a difference on a grand scale. But that business success didn’t come without its challenges.
As a neurodivergent business owner and mum of 2, I had to learn to work smarter not harder.
And It took the support of the RIGHT coaches and mentors who believed in the value of flexibility and freedom rather than your bottom line as the ONLY measure of success.
In April 2023, we packed up our life in Sydney to return to Ireland. Socials by Sarah is where I share the strategies that work for me, my family and my business with aspiring and established VAs & Online Service Providers like you all over the world.
